Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

Caregiver Mini Apps ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Sitters Co. Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and mini apps (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the terms below.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and an authentication identifier. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
  • Purchase information. When you buy a mini app, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a record that a purchase was made, the product, the amount, and a transaction ID.
  • Usage data. We collect basic, aggregated analytics about how the Service is used — page views, device type, country, and referring source — to improve the product. This data is not used to identify you personally.
  • Content you create. Notes, plans, and shift reports you create in the app are stored so you can access them across devices.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process purchases and deliver access to mini apps you buy.
  • To send you transactional messages (receipts, password resets, account notices).
  • To understand aggregate usage and prioritize what to build next.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising on the Service.

3. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
  • Google — optional sign-in.
  • Analytics provider — anonymous, aggregated traffic analytics.

Each of these services has its own privacy practices and is bound by its own terms.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and remember preferences (for example, whether you've dismissed the safety note). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. We may retain limited transaction records (for example, purchase history) as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

7. Children

The Service is designed for adult caregivers (babysitters, nannies, parents, and other family members). It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International users

The Service is operated from Canada. If you access it from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada and other countries where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give you reasonable notice through the Service or by email.
